Welcome to our website and welcome to our church. St. Paul’s United Methodist Church was organized in 1859 and the church erected in 1861. Each year on October 17 we celebrate the church’s  anniversary.  It is a time of rejoicing and celebrating. We celebrate God’s love and care that kept St.  Paul’s congregation alive and well. We also celebrate the present congregation, our ancestors and all the  pastors for their dedication and service to make St. Paul’s special. It takes a lot of united effort to keep   the church a vibrant entity in the community of Tottenville on Staten Island.

On Sundays at 11:00 AM we have Worship Service and Church School. We cover all grades from first to  twelfth. We have dedicated staff. During July and August the Worship Service is at 10:00AM. and there  is no Church School.

Our Worship Service is enriched with the beautiful singing of the Junior and Senior Choirs and wonderful organ and piano playing. Thank God for the dedication of all involved. The Gospel is preached  every Sunday and the messages are inspiring and uplifting. We also have a message for the children.

On the first Sunday of every month we have Holy Communion to remember Jesus the Christ – his  life, death and resurrection. We believe that as we participate with faith in our heart we are drawn closer  to God and find inner strength for daily living. I am proud to say that at St. Paul’s we also have boy scouts and girl scouts in all levels. The leaders  do a lot for the scouts to educate them and keep them entertained.

At St. Paul’s we celebrate God’s love and help. We also celebrate each other as children of God and  partners in ministry and mission. Come and join us in being part of this joyous experience. Thank you for your time to read this message and browse through our website. Hope to see you soon.
